New construction, built around the way you live.
From a complimentary first conversation to the walkthrough, one builder carries the whole house: drawings, homesite, budget, selections and the crew.

Building with confidence.
Building your home is fundamentally about trust, and choosing the builder is the decision everything else rests on. Vivid Homes builds with quality materials, good craftsmanship and one person accountable from the first meeting to the last walkthrough.
What you can expect
Throughout the build you'll choose colors, materials and design styles, with our interior design team on hand so every decision feels confident. A full custom home typically takes six to nine months; smaller homes, garages and additions run three to six. Want to change something mid-build? The building team is a phone call away.
When the house is finished we walk it together, room by room, before you get the keys.
The building process, stage by stage

From ground to finished
Watch a house come together.
Every home moves through the same stages — footings and foundation, framing, insulation and drywall, then the finish work that makes it yours.

See the finished work.
Browse completed custom homes — The Mezzano, The Cranberry, The McCormick, The Ivory Farms, The Willow and The Maple Valley — from framing through the finished, lived-in result. View the full portfolio.
Have a lot already?
Most of our clients do. If you don't, we can help you find one. Either way, the homesite is evaluated before any design work starts.
Build on your lot.
Own land around Davidson, Lake Norman, Mooresville, Cornelius or Huntersville? We'll build on it. Don't have a lot yet? We watch what's coming up for sale in our service area and point you at homesites that suit the house you want — tell us the towns and the budget and we'll start from there.

The lot decides more than the plan does.
Slope, soil, setbacks, septic or sewer, where the driveway can go and where the sun comes from. We look at all of that on the first visit, before a floor plan is chosen, because it changes what the house should be and what it will cost.
The homesite evaluation and layout planning are part of the $2,500 design deposit, which is credited in full against your build contract.
